Emine Dilara Koçak

Prof. Dr. Emine Dilara Koçak (Scopus ID 6602580120) completed her PhD at Marmara University (Institute of Applied and Pure Sciences) in 2004 She was appointed by the Faculty of Technology, Department of Textile Engineering of the same university as professor in 2016. Koçak was awarded a prize by the TUBITAK and Marmara University for her studies. She is the executive director of “SMARTWASTE” and “RETEX” projects under MSCA Staff Exchanges. She visited the NanoLeaves group in 2023-2024, funded by the TUBITAK project 2219, entitled “Development of Flexible Bio-Composites with Self-Healing and Conductive Properties for Wearable Electronic Applications " and received the status of “Visiting Fellow” from the University of Pisa, invited by Alessandra Operamolla. Her field of study pertains fiber production from agricultural waste, biosensor, sustainable materials, synthetic polymer fiber and yarn, bio-based composite materials and bio conductive materials.
