Hichem Zergane

Dr Zergane has visited the NanoLeaves group for two weeks in October 2023. He is Assistant Professor at the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene in Algeria, Laboratory of Materials Science Engineering and Engineering (LSGM). The main goal of the scientific visit was the functionalization of nanocellulose. Dr Zergane specializes in biobased materials with a focus on their applications in energy storage devices, textiles, etc. to explore their potential in these fields. His work aims to advance knowledge in the intersection of materials science and sustainable technology, addressing the pressing challenges of energy storage and textile or other applications development through environmentally friendly solutions.
