Matteo Cei

Matteo Graduated in Chemistry in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Alessandra Operamolla and Prof. Francesco Zinna. In 2024, he was research fellow under the supervision of Alessandra Operamolla with a scholarship funded by CIRCC, the Interuniversity Consortium for Chemical Reactivity and Catalysis. He was awarded a GIC Award 2024 from the Catalysis Group of the Italian Chemical Society for his Master Thesis work on cellulose nanocrystals and chiroptical properties of their composite films with lanthanide emitters. From November 2024, Matteo is enrolled in the PhD school in Chemistry and Materials Science, under the supervision of Alessandra Operamolla and Francesco Zinna. His research work focuses on the development of molecular and nanostructured lanthanides-probes for CPL microscopy.
